Story & Background

After studying fine arts and obtaining a B.S. in Multimedia Art and Animation, I began my career in San Diego’s creative industry. I have performed roles in art direction, graphic design, illustration, video editing, writing, and client communications, working with organizations ranging from entertainment companies and arts programs, to festivals and small businesses.

As a child, I grew up surrounded by the rural beauty of northern Appalachia, while also steeped in the intellectual curiosity of a university town. I spent much of my time building an imaginary world filled with magical rabbits, which I drew on the back of my father's discarded software diagrams. Recently, after relocating to South Carolina, I have had the opportunity to invest in the homeschool community, volunteer with creative youth programs, and begin a small homestead. These experiences have broadened my perspective and enriched my artistry and storytelling.

The innate drive to create has come full-circle for me over the decades. Currently I am building out the world of my middle-grade fiction series, Fuzzy Logic, collaborating with clients, and creating character-driven stories that live across a wide range of media.
